Listening to the MJ Morning Show which has been my favorite morning show ever since they started in St. Louis back in 90’s when it was the MJ and BJ Show. Then in high school, I turned on the radio and BJ was gone and I had no idea why. Now today and tomorrow are the reunion show, and I am enjoying this because it is very honest and raw show about such a hard time in BJ’s life.
Even if you have never liked this show, and I can see why people would find it annoying. However, go to the wesbite today (www.mjmorningshow.com) and listen to the podcast because it is the most honest account from a former addict. Now I am going into the mental health field so maybe it is because I do have the interest in this type of subject matter. But if you do have an interest in learning about addcitions, listen to it.
Love this morning show still and wishing luck to BJ because how he says he “struggles everyday.”
Manny Ramirez, who was replaced for defense in the ninth inning, said he was in the shower when the Phillies rallied to beat the Dodgers.
–At first I thought this was a joke, but then I remembered that he really is a jackass.

Just Manny being Manny
Via Rick Ankiel's MustacheWhat a weekend!
This weekend I traveled to Kansas City and ran my first half marathon. After training since July finally all my efforts paid off. I was extremely nervous about it because I had gotten sick a week prior to it and hadnt had a good run a week and half before the race. However, I finished (which was the goal) and only walked a few times. (sorry, but there some hills that killed me). I finished in 2 hours and 45 mins. Not bad for a girl who could barely run a mile and half two years ago. I am extremely proud of this endeavor. Now, I have already registered for one in St Louis in April 2010 and have began to think how I can improve.
Also, I will be running various 5k’s or 10k’s between now and then because well…the runner’s bug has bit me and I am going to embrace it. As my dad said, if im going to get addicted to something guess running can’t be too bad of an addiction.
Also, we celebrated my friends 24th birthday that night. It was a great time with awesome friends and I am forever grateful for them.
Last night, I had dinner at my sister’s which reminded how blessed I am for my family as well.
All this positivity still maybe my runners high still effecting me but things are really going well right now. Ready for the next few months: Kevin’s birthday, Thanksgiving, end of this busy semester, Christmas, New Years…and 2010-which I can already tell will be a GREAT year! I do have a lot to look forward to.
So excited for Halloween!
Got the last part of my Halloween costume today!! (which was a headband) This chick is going to rock the Blair Waldorf look while watching amazing dancing at the So You Think You Can Dance concert!! Then who knows…but im sure it will be fun.
Now how to convince my fiance to be Chuck Bass….it probably won’t happen but its a nice thought!
